Miss Universe British Virgin Islands was selected out of seven young ladies on the eleventh of August, 2024. The title went to Deyounce Lowenfield of BVI. She would 6trepresent BVI in Mexico at the Miss Universe International Pageant on 16th November, 2024.

So, who is Deyounce Lowenfield?

Deyounce Lowenfield of BVI is a model, a trained business administrator and a familiar pageant face. Let us take it one at a time. We will start with modelling. Ms. Lowenfield is a runway model, who has been strutting on the British Virgin Islands stage since she was sixteen. Though still a student, she was able to combine both assignments, successfully. She even made the honours roll when she graduated high school in 2021.

Next, Deyounce gained admission into the community college to study Business Administration. Again, she excelled at it and graduated a few months ago. Note that in the midst of preparation for school graduation, she also prepared for this pageant.

Thirdly, Deyounce Lowenfield of BVI was part of Miss Universe BVI 2023. Though she was first runner-up, she won several awards of the event. She won Miss Popularity, Miss Poise, Miss Photogenic, Best Swimwear and Best Evening gown. Phew!

Therefore, it was only natural that when Deyounce returned in 2024, she would definitely win. The queen put in all her modeling and school experience, to win the title.
