Mauritius also chose her Miss Universe representative on 10th August 2024. So ladies and gentlemen, 2024 MUM is Tania René. Another African queen, who we hope will bring the crown to Africa once again.

Meet Tania René Miss Universe Mauritius 2024:

In the first place, ladies and gentlemen, this beauty is a seasoned, serial winner of titles and awards. By 2017, Tania René had her first win when she won Golden Face pageant in Mauritius. Thus kick-starting her successful modelling career. Fired by this win, she entered for the Miss Intercontinental pageant in 2019.

Of course Ms René made it to the Top 15. She has not competed in any pageant where she did not win or get placed. That is the graduate of Media Communications for you. Always on a winning spree.

Also, Tania entered the Miss Top Model competition in 2019 and was first runner-up. Meaning that the crown missed her by whiskers. Unrelenting, the leggy beauty was part of Miss Grand International 2020. Here, she placed Top 15. Any surprise why 2024 MUM is Tania René? It is long overdue.

Aside from these titles, she won Best Talent at the Miss Intercontinental pageant 2019. And wait for it, she is the first Beauty Queen promoting books and celebrating her birthday in the midst of books. We have photos to prove. She says she loves anime as well.

By the way, Vashika Tania was getting a degree whilst modelling and winning beauty pageants. People, she juggled them all and won them all. These African queens are taking this Beauty and Brains business seriously. Once again, any surprise why 2024 MUM is Tania René?

In closing, our first African winner of the title is Namibia’s Liela Lopes in 2011, followed by Zozibini Tunzi from South Africa in 2019, five years ago. So, are ripe for another Miss Universe title right? Yes, we can. We believe in our queens.
