Miss Diaspora Nigeria USA 2024 took place in Chicago on 3rd August 2024. At the end of the glamorous event, Oyemen Ehikhamhen emerged Miss Diaspora Nigeria (MDN) USA 2024. The event took five days with the finale at the Sheraton on the night of Friday the third.
During the bootcamp, the girls learned about the rich culture and tradition of the Nigerian people. They also enjoyed all the delicacies from Nigeria throughout the camp. Aside from this, they learned about the different situations in Nigeria and what is done to improve or enhance them. The most special, aspect of the pageant is meeting other Nigerian ladies from different parts of the USA.
The Miss Diaspora Nigeria USA 2024 had impartial judges at the event, one of them included famous actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo. This ageless actor has always given his support to the pageant, since their inception in 2023.
How it began :
So, a few Nigerians led by Sir Osagie decided to inspire and empower young Nigerian women in the United States of America with the Miss Nigeria Diaspora United States America. Their maiden edition was held in August 2023 with Edeifo Brittany Aikhuele as their first winner.
Finally, this second season was even more glamorous than the first edition. The organizers look forward to a more successful pageant in 2025. To cap the success of MDNU, Miss Aikhuele the first winner, is a contestant in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant holding in October 2024.
