On the night of September 16th 2023, Brooke Bruk-Jackson won the Miss Universe Zimbabwe pageant beating sixteen other beauties to the glorious crown. She will go to El Salvador come November eighteenth 2023, to represent her beloved country.

For about twenty-two years, this pageant was suspended in Zimbabwe. And so the whole country was excited and expectant of the glamorous event. The hall was packed full, the gifts were eye-popping, the contestants pulled all the stops.

Brooke Bruk-Jackson was born and bred in Zimbabwe. She is a native of Harare. After secondary school, she went to the United Kingdom to study fashion and design. She returned to become a model in Cape Town in South Africa. She is also a Beauty therapist when she is not on the runway. Her favourite meal is ‘sadza nenyama nemuriwo’.

Brooke is twenty-two years old. Exactly the same period the pageant was suspended in Zimbabwe. So it is a symbolic win.
