Nyekachi Douglas made top five at Miss World 2019. She it was who also won Top Model and Miss world Africa 2019 at the Miss World Pageant in London . She has joined the battle for the Miss Universe crown coming up in Nigeria, in September 2023. She has her eyes set on the MU international pageant in December 2023.

Nyekachi Douglas made world headlines in 2019 her celebration of her fellow contestant who was crowned Miss World same year. She was crowned Top Model of the pageant and Miss World Africa of same. She is the longest reigning Miss World Africa queen. The COVID-19 pandemic which began later in 2019 up to 2021, made it almost impossible to hold the Pageant till 2022. Since 2019, Nyekachi has gone on to dorn the runway for successful labels.
