Kedist Deltour, beautiful, charming, elegant Miss Belgium, went as far as the quarter finals of Miss Universe Pageant 2021.
Her story is a typical #Cinderella story. She was born in Ethiopia in 1997. She had two younger siblings. Her mother died when she was seven years old. So, her father married a new wife. Things were really bad with the new wife, so the children dropped out of school and were abandoned to the streets.
Her father thought it best to leave them in an orphanage. One day, Mr. & Mrs. Deltour of Belgium showed up at the orphanage and adopted three of them and took them back with them to Belgium. Thus changed their lives forever.
Kedist grew in beauty and wisdom. (Beauty seems synonymous with Ethiopia). After secondary education in Belgium, she trained and became a hairdresser and a model. She contested and won Miss Eastlands in Belgium. Then she won Miss Belgium 2020 and many gift prizes.
She represented Belgium at Miss Universe 2021. She made it to top forty out of eighty contestants. She went back to modeling after the event. She is grateful.
